LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Las Vegas valley favorite Pinkbox Doughnuts is expanding its footprint in Southern Nevada yet again.The newest location is scheduled to open Saturday, May 18, at Pahrump Nugget Hotel & Casino, said a spokesperson for the doughnut chain.A grand opening celebration will kick off with an official ribbon-cutting, followed by family-friendly activities like balloon art, face-painting, games, and doughnut-eating contests - one for children and one for adults. Contest winners will get Pinkbox gift cards.

Pahrump bowling club gets record turnout, Debi Conrad takes singles

A record number of bowlers participated in the Pahrump Valley Tournament Bowling Club’s event on Saturday afternoon as 119 competitors showed up for the tournament.The singles event had 64 bowlers in the A division and 55 in the B division.The top 16 bowlers in the A division and the top 14 in the B division all received a portion of the prize pool based on their finishing position.
